"Not Ready to Sleep"

This video is about a woman doing her daily routine of getting ready for bed.  However, as she is going up the stairs to her bed, she changes her mind and wants to go out for the night and have fun.  I made this change happen very quickly so that it seems almost realistic.  This video portrays a woman who wants to change her daily routine and just have fun.

"Relaxation"

This video focused on the relaxation and fun elements of water.  Therefore, I filmed my mother enjoying a nice bubble bath.  I showed the various different sounds that water can create and I also created reflections as well.  I wanted this video to feel very simplistic and have a relaxing theme; ending with the lights dimming to black.

"Going Out Tonight"

This stop motion piece serves as a narrative about a girl waking up from a nap and getting ready for a night out on the town with her friend.  She goes through the process of waking up, brushing teeth, deciding what to wear, putting on makeup, and talking to friends.  I used stop motion to show the repetitive nature and long process of getting ready, and the excitement of finally going out.

"Life in Color"

This image portrays my love of color and how beautiful color is in its most natural, simple form; paint.  I used a black background to emphasize the paints along with using macro, and I feel that the highlights on the paint help to show its beauty.

"Slave for Fashion"

This photo portrays the daily battle of having good fashion and what a girl goes through to look her best everyday.  I chose fishnets in this photo and a cropped view of my face to create a dynamic picture.  I am biting the fishnets to show the struggles and battles that I face with fashion and how I always try to break through the barriers of normal dress to create my own style.

"A Look Inside My Life"

This photo shows how the eye can lead into the soul.  The reflection in the eye is the focal point of this photo and states how the eye can convey so much emotion, however this emotion has a mysterious quality about it.  Also, the use of makeup shown helps to amplify this mysterious quality and emphasizes the color of the eye.

"Christmas Morning"

Using a still life, this image portrays Christmas morning as I see it.  I arranged Christmas lights and placed the focus on the one light closest to me, while blurring out the rest in the background using macro.  The bocas in the back create a dream-like feeling, which help to amplify the excitement and beauty of Christmas morning.
